  • 1981 Degree from Palacky’s University in Psychology (Czech Republic); 1988 Degree from Padua University in Psychology, Italy
  • 1992 – 1996 Specialization in Psychotherapy (training in psycho-body oriented therapy and training in relational therapy)
  • 2003 – 2004 Education in Total Quality Management: “Development of Benchmarking for the National Health System” University of Federico II, Naples, Italy

Professional activities

  • 1989 – 1990: psychologist – psychotherapist in the Rehabilitation Centre for handicapped people in Teverola (I)
  • 1990 – 2002: psychologist – psychotherapist in the Department of Addiction in the Public Health Organization – Azienda Sanitaria Locale (ASL) in Caserta
  • since 2002 Coordinator of Psychological Activities in the Department of Psychology ASL Caserta 1
  • since 2000 involvement in traffic issues firstly for SIPSIVI (a pilot project on marketing of sustainable mobility “Salotto Caserta”).
  • since 2003 a member of the “Permanent Committee for Studies, Research and Planning in the Social and Health Sector”, which is a no-profit association within ASL, closely related to the Department of Psychology. The main activities include organization and implementation of research programmes and vocational training courses in the social and health sector, carried out in cooperation with other national and international institutions. Among the current activities on traffic topic there are:
    • promoting and facilitating mobility of children, elderly and handicapped people
    • introducing safety measures (acceptance, responsibility, adherence)
    • prevention of road accidents, especially in young people
    • training of road education’s mediators (driving instructors, teachers, educators)

International cooperation

  • Auditor of ICTCT – International Co-operation on Theories and Concepts in Traffic Safety (2001-)
  • Member of Management Committee COST Action 352 (Influence of Modern In-vehicle Information Systems on Road Safety Requirements) and COST Action 355 (Changing Behaviour towards a More Sustainable Transport System)
